| Characterization Campaign of Reference
Thermo-regulated Patterns |
|
Participating laboratories: ONERA
Goal:
In
the frame of studies related to the testing of imaging sensor devoted
to DRI (Detection Recognition Identification), some IR thermo-regulated
patterns have been designed by the Optical Department of ONERA.
They are also used for the assessment of the modulation transfert
function (MTF) and signal to noise ratio (SNR) of airborn infrared
imaging sensors (like Timbre-Poste
).
|
Means:
The pattern is constituted by assembling 9 panels that are
mounted on an orientable bench. Each of them shows typical
patterns (as polygons, truncated triangles and rings) which
are acurately thermo-regulated in order to directly test the
DRI performances.
Campaign date: october 2006, the data are currently being analysed. A second
trial campaign will take place in 2007.
Participants: Françoise Viallefont, Philippe Deliot, Philippe Rolland,
André Dillinger. Alain Dejean.
